Title: Lost the permissions of user admin
Post by: stancho on 16 Dec 2010 07:11:18 AM
Hello

During one update of the whole content store (from another BI Server) I lose the permissions of user admin.
I do not have permissions to IBM Cognos Administratiron, Report Studio and so on..

I have only permissions for IBM Content Store and Drill-through Definitionions.

Do you know how can I restore them?

I do not have another admin user.

BR,
Stancho

My Content Store is set to IBM Cognos Content database - port 19305.
(it is not derby)
Which DB type should I use and how to execute the sql?

Thanks

Are you running Cognos Express?

Yes,
Sorry for writing in the wrong section. I thought it is the same...

Express contains parts of Cognos 8, but is different in some respects.  One of these differences is the content store - Express uses an Informix database as its content store.

I can't check just now - does it come with a reset SQL script for Informix?

Yes, it comes with Informix scripts..
I managed to solve the issue reinstalling the Cognos :)
I have a backup of the content store.

There is a folder Informix but I didn't understand how to execute the sql script..

Thanks MF!
