We have a new install of Cognos 8.4.1. The Go! Search tab under adminstration worked fine and it would bring up the Index options page. All of a sudden after a forced reboot yesterday during testing, when I tried to go to Go! Search -> Index the error "CSN-ISS-0021 Search processing failed"
came up. Searched IBM support and it was no help, all I could find out is that it's a bug recently found and there's no solution. Tried installing the Fix Pack 3 also and it wasn't much help.
I have 3 servers in our cognos environment, one for the web gateway, one for the applications and content manager, and a sql server for metrics store.
I still need to make some refinements to limit indexing. Does anyone have experience with this error or know where the configuration is saved so I can tried adjusting the config file in the mean time?
