I am trying to install framework manager 8.4.1 on my windows 7 64 bit PC and i am getting this error message.
This software requires Windows NT 4.0 or Higher. You cannot install on this computer.
Please let me know how to install framework manager 8.4.1 on my PC.
Our 8.4.1 server installation is installed on windows 2003 server.

Can you run the installer in some kind of forced compatibility mode by setting right-click properties on the setup.exe? Wouldn't be officially supported, but worth a try - I'd also explicitly choose 'Run as Administrator' on Win7, so UAC doesn't trip you up along the way.

Despite it not being listed in supported environments you can install and run 32bit framework manager on a Windows 7 machine. Along with the comments already posted make sure it is installed in the (x86) Program File directory.
The only probelm with the non-supported environment is that should you run into issues later on then it is going to be difficult to get customer support from IBM until you are in a supported environment.

I tried to install using compatibility mode and also as administrator but still not allowing me to install. Just gives the same error message.
So we are planning to install under XP virtual mode on the windows 7 PC .
