hi gurus,

i have recently installed cognos 8.4. while opening report studio from cognos home page i could not able to open the report studio & getting the following error.

HAL ERROR :

_XJ9._C97() must be called in the HTML body.

what could be the reason? any suggestions?

Do you have any popup blockers installed? Sometimes these can cause problems.
