Please we need help with the following issue:
We have installed the metric studio gateway and application tier into the web server computers we use as cognos8 gateway. When running the metric studio application from cognos connection menu through the gateway servers the application fails to load, the browser sends an error message saying "Error: Object expected". Loading the application from the cognos connection menu on a direct connection to the cognos8 bi server the application loads fine.
We have no idea of what is the missing part on our installation, we are guessing that some content is missing in the gateway computers.
Shoud we install the application tier software for the metric server ?
Is necessary to update the apache web server configuration ?
