Title: scheduled reports sitting in Executing or Pending State

Has anyone experienced scheduled reports just sitting in an executing or pending state and never being ran?  This has been happening for a few weeks now where it will run fine for a few days and then jsut sit?

Hi there,

This can happen is the BIBus process has been terminated unexpectedly.  What I'd suggest you do is to
1.  Stop the C8 services
2.  Drop the NC tables

3.  Restart the c8 services

That gets you back to a point where you can start looking at the root causes.
Check to see if you have javacores or dmp files under the ../<C8install>/bin folders.  If you do then you need to
1.  Look at the version of c8 as there may be defects involved
2.  Look at tuning the dispatchers
3.  Look at tuning the memory (startup.bat and bootstrap_win32.xml)
4.  Look at what is happening on Cognos.

Thats the basic start of your process for resolving the issues
