hi,

I'd like to know if there's an existing function or macro which returns the cognos server name. Reason is that we'd like to dynamically generate the http path (http://servername/Cognos8/cgi-bin/...) in a report for multiple environments (development, test and production).

Hi,

Yes there is - the ServerName() function. Try it in a layout calculation in one of your Report Studio reports.
