Title: Exporting Report to Excel Blocked

Hello, I am trying to export a Cognos report to excel but it seems that excel is blocked.  It does not matter if I try excel 2000 or excel 2007 or excel 2002 or excel single sheet.  In the past when this has happened it was due to the user downloading a Google toolbar add on or something similar.  This is not the case this time though.  Also pop blocker is turned off.  The user is using IE 8 to run Cognos.  There are other users running IE 8 w/o issue.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Try this: Add Cognos server to IE8's Trusted Sites.

Hi ,
do the following modification in  IE (internet explorer) add the server location to my 'trusted sites' and enable 'Active X for unsigned documents' .hope it will work.
