Hi all,
I've just come across a very peculiar issue. I'm not able to open (at least) 2 reports in Report Studio, on opening them in RS, following the 'Checking Capabilities' dialogue box, the browser screen just closes. I'm able to open Report Studio specifically against the package this report uses, I'm able to open other reports written against that package, and other reports from other packages.
This is the first time I've attempted to open these reports as they were developed by a colleague.
We're on Cognos 10.1 FP1, 32 bit version running on Windows 2003 server with a SQL 2008 content store. The data source is Oracle 10g.
Has anyone come across this? Thanks in advance
Is it possible that these reports utilise capabilities within Report Studio that your user ID does not have access to?

I'm an administrator on the system so that shouldn't be an issue.
I've just been able to open the report in IE8 (previously failing using IE6), so maybe there's some compatibility issue here
Check the report properties...is it opening to Excel format?
