Title: Trend lines for missing months

I have a point chart in Cognos 10.  This chart shows the values for multiple years and on it I have a trend line for each year.  On the 2012 line I only have Three months of number but the trend line is using all twelve months to draw the line.  See the picture.  I have supress null values on the query and the chart but nothing will work.  I need the trend line to either stop at the end of the three dots or bettern continue out through the end of the chart.

Hi Steven,

I went through your post and have exactly the same requirement. I am just wondering as how to calculate the Trend line for each years. Can you help me with this as how to calculate the trend line?
