Hi.
I'm looking for any 3rd party books or manuals on Framework Manger, other than the manuals supplied by IBM. I'm looking for sources that provide more of a training perspective rather than a reference.
Does anyone know of any or have any recommendations? I have found many videos and webinars which give me bits and pieces, but I'm looking for a more holistic and comprehensive source.
I noticed that Amazon.com offers the book, IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10: The Official Guide which has a chapter on Framework Manager, but I'm thinking that this will not contain the comprehensive information I am looking for. Does anyone have this book and would like to provide feedback?
I am primarily working with transactional data sources so any info specific to that type of modeling would be very helpful.
Thanks.
IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10: The Official Guide
If it is written in the same context as the 8 version it will add very little to the existing documentation in the Cognos help and other files. The best bet is the incidental Cognos KB document (best practices)
You will still need to get IBM Cognos 8: the official guide. He did not rehash the book for version 10. He mostly just added to it to expand on the new tools in version 10.
