Print Page - Features need to implement on report page (help, print and export to excel)

Hi,

My Report page contains 4 charts in 4 table cells. I need to show below 3 icons on top right corner of each chart.

1. Help (?) - When user click on this icon, another popup window has to display with some description about the chart.

2. Print (Printer Image) - When user click on this printer icon, printable version (.pdf) of chart should be display with other printer properties to print the chart.

3. Export to excel (excel icon) - When user click on Excel icon, the data items used for that chart should be display in excel mode with save option. (Ex: If Chart displaying region wise revenue, the excel file should contain Region and Revenue columns.)

We are using Cognos 10.1.1 report studio for our report development.

Any solutions for above requirement is appreciated.

Hi,

You can create two different reports for each chart.
Define the drill links from each chart to the taget chart, set open in new window and specify the format you want to see the output.
