Hi,
we have one server that is prod one and now this server is getting expired and they want to move everything to another one and make the other server basically DR server as the prod one.
we have 2 portlets and there are few reports in it in the prod server. Now when cognos is installed on the other server, i don't see portlets there. I see only public folders and my folders. Is there a way to get this into the new server? just like what is there in the prod one.

Are you missing all of your content, or just missing portal tabs?
I am missing just the portal tabs. I am able to get Public Folders and My Folders.
Do you just have the Public Folder and My Folder tabs? Is there any report content on those tabs?

It sounds like you have the content, but the portal tabs are not associated with the users.
You can use the content administration feature to export the entire content from the old environment. When you do, there is an option to include the user information. The portal tabs for a user is part of that user information.
Ok, I got it. i beleive the procedure should be available in the cognos documents to import.
