hi all,
when i try to connect cube datasource from framework manager remotely. I am getting this error:
PDS-PCT-0023 PowerPlay Data Server cannot read the data cache.
But i am able to connect it on site.
pls advice.

Are you using local or UNC paths?

what is the difference between them?

A local path has a drive letter and a colon for the first two characters. A UNC path starts with two backslahes, also known as whacks ... ;D

Can you see the MDC file in the UNC path from your workstation?

I wonder if you need write right to that UNC directory as well... This is a good one.
