HI,

I'm just starting to work with Planning - Analyst Version 8.4.1 and i've been told that in the calculation field of a Dlist I can type in formulas that dont exist in the BIF section, such as MID and LEFT.
I'm not sure I see this to be true and it doesnt work at all, can someone point me in the direction of any formulas that I can use in this calculation box and where I can get some tutorials on these?

There's not so much, certainly no LEFT or RIGHT or any string manipulations as such
