Hello Folks
I am having an issue printing in PDF from report studio:
1. The page is set to custom size (11 inches width X 8 inches height) for PDF printing.
2. Printing works fine as per the custom page setting on some computers (laptops and desktops).
3. We have a user (desktop computer) where the custom page settings are not honoured and it always prints in portrait thus cutting off columns. On screen the PDF page looks fine and the print preview also looks fine as per the setting.
4. We have used the same printer for all the print tests.
5. We have also tried with a different printer for the user having issues and nothing has changed.
Any insight on this issue is highly appreciated

Once a Cognos document is in PDF view mode Cognos no longer has control
If the users default print settings for PDF force Portrait then every Cognos Report that person attempts to print will come out in portrait - even though the default for the report is Landscape...
I would recommend opening the print dialog for that use and then selecting "Properties" in the Print Menu and going to the "Finishing" tab - ensure the Orientation you want is selected.
Even if it is not there, my guess is that there is something in this particular users print settings that force Portrait and Cognos cannot override his personal print settings.
Thanks for the suggestion. I shall try that.
