Title: Using Macro in Report Studio
Post by: ratnalein on 02 Dec 2013 10:27:38 AM
Hallo everyone,

I got a report, which has this data element:

#$LALAPOP_POINT{$account.parameters.basicSignon+"_"+$DataSecurity_Art}#

I know how macro works, but I cant understand what the dollar sign means in above code.  In fact, above line occurs syntax error:
Quote
QE-DEF-0260 Parsing error before or near position: 36 of: "LALAPOP_POINT:"

Can someone explain and recognize what the problem from above line is?

Thank you,

Ratna :)

Hi,
LALAPOP_POINT is a parameter map Name which should be in Framework manager.

And We use dollar in front of parameter map Name. Then only Cognos understand that is a Parameter Map.
