We have a report in Congos 10.1.1 (mobile server 10.1.1.3) that includes some prompts on the report page - that do not display when viewed on the iPad or through the Mobile browser front-end. The doco says that some in-line prompts are supported by Cognos mobile, but prompts that are directly on the report page aren't.
What's the difference, I thought that prompts on the report page were inline prompts?
Can anyone advise whether it's possible to get prompts working on the report page through Cognos mobile?

So I am not sure for your particular version of Cognos, as we are on 10.2.1.1 and applied the most recent service packs in December. I just verified in-line prompts working on an Android client running the most recent version from Google Play. There were updates to both Android and iOS clients in December (or recently anyway) that resolved some bugs for us, so you may want to make sure you are on the latest client app.
I know upgrading/updating Cognos is not always an option - we normally only do it here once or twice a year at best - but if it is you might want to try it. I know there used to be issues with in-line prompts not being supported, but cannot recall what version that changed; I thought 10.1.x was ok. Maybe you can give support a call and ask them specifically what version you need.
