Title: How to edit a Calculation on a Report?

Hi,

I am using Query Studio 8.4.1.

I know how to add a calculation on a report.

I am wondering: can I edit the calculation on the report?

Nope. You can't edit a Query Studio calculation unless you open the report in Report Studio and make the change there. Of course you can't then save it back to Query Studio, so it effectively ceases to be a Query Studio report anymore.

You can re-create the calculation in Query Studio.

When you upgrade to Cognos 10 you should look into the new unified business authoring tool called Cognos Workspace Advanced (it was Business Insight Advanced in the earlier releases of 10). It provides significant advantages over Query Studio and Analysis Studio with the added bonus of allowing Report Studio "tweaks" as needed.
