when i import a report from within reportstudio then tools
i get the following error
http://developer.cognos.com/schemas/report/9.0 is not supported.
the expected version http://developer.cognos.com/schemas/report/8.0
we use cognos 10.1.1 does someone know witch schema belongs to wich version of Cognos?
I am on 10.2.1.1 and the schema number for my report specs is 11.0
I assume that 10.1.1 is 8.0, 10.2 is 9.0, 10.2.1 is 10.0 and 10.2.1.1 is 11.0
Depending on the report complexity and contents, sometimes you can change the schema manually from 9.0 to 8.0 and get the spec to load. This won't work if it contains XML definitions that are not in the 8.0 schema, though. It has to be worth a try, just in case?

I assume that u are very correct but i cant find it on the IBM site anywhere can someone confirm this?
You already know from your instance that 10.1.1 is schema version 8.0
You also know (from me - confirmed) that 10.2.1.1 is schema version 11.0
We just need folks with 10.2 and 10.2.1 to check their schema number and confirm my assumption :)
I am pretty sure I am correct here anyway, but others can confirm if they have the chance to look. I don't think IBM publish XML schema specs for different versions.
Are you just curious to know or is there a specific reason?

Both iam curious but also have a manufacturer that delivers me a .txt report that i can import into reportstudio
but it gives the error it has a different schema.
so i said to the manufacturer that the report is build in a higher version of cognos but they decline that.

If their schema number is higher than yours, they are certainly on a later version than you - no doubt. I would guess they are on 10.2 if you are on 10.1.1?
