Title: Users schedules failing in Cognos 10.2 after password change

In Cognos 10.2 Prod Environment,
1. We have users who changed password,
2.Within 24hrs of pwd change they performed Renew Credentials in Cognos Connection
3. Still the schedules failed, giving error: AAA-AUT-0002 Unable to authenticate because the credentials are invalid. CAM-AAA-0055 User input is required. CAM-AAA-0036 Unable to authenticate because the credentials are invalid.
4. Performed NC drop on Notification DB, and still did not help
5. Now, even after users performing Renew Credentials, their schedules fail.
6. PMR is opened, but no progress so far.

Has anyone come across such issues on 10.2?

How about creating new schedule for same reports with user's ID ? is that also failing ?

hi,

Please change the properties of automatically renen trusted credential to all namespaces.
The schedule works fine after user change the password.

In Cognos Configuration, we have this setting applied to all namespaces. However we only have one LDAP namespace across.

We also asked users to schedule new reports, even those failed.

Thank you again to all for reviewing and replying. Any thoughts/comments is appreciated.


Does anyone know, if Cognos has any limitations related to changing password, and syncing with LDAP, upon changing password?

Cognos Gurus',

@Clayton: Our internal Cognos team, folks tested users schedules, and found that 3 report schedules ran successfully and 4 failed.
schedules are failing randomly.

We also have only single LDAP namespace on Production environment.

Is anyone facing same issues Cognos 10.2 FP1? Appreciate any thoughts in anticipation.
