We currently use C8
There's approximately 120 powerplay and 250 consumer users
This works fine on a single server with 16GB RAM, 1 quad core processor and around 250GB disc space
I am looking to justify the C10 upgrade
Part of this involves moving to a new server, as the existing one has IIS6 so rather than upgrade the server, I will start again and run this in parallel
I now need to justify the server specification and can't find any documentation
Sure I've seen some in the past with calculations like the 100:10:1 named user = xGB RAM, how much apps take, etc.
I feel 16GB should suffice, just need evidence - can anybody point me in the right direction?

Couple of points to list in your business case
Windows 2003 end of life
IIS6 end of life
(No further support)
Must move to 2008 or above
If server is 3 years old then it's considered to be at risk for stability
If you use SunOne LDAP, you need to move to ADS or AD LDS or LDAP supported on Windows 2008 and above.
These are issue's we're facing right now.
Hardware is only one aspect, software and software licensing is another major cost factor

IBM have a server sizing questionnaire, and I'm sure one of their guys would be happy to assist you in plugging in the relevant numbers and seeing what server spec comes out at the other end. Probably best if you contact your account manager in IBM - they will no doubt pass the request onto the technical guys there who can help.
I have seen a copy of the document, but it requires a password to generate output, and IBM only issue this to certified people.
