Title: Netezza datasource Single signon
Post by: mrcool on 25 Jun 2014 08:31:16 PM
Hi All,

I would like to know if anyone has implemented the singlesign on to netezza data source using an "External Namespace"? I have created the datasource and tested it but it prompts me for userid and password when I use it in a report to test it. It doesn't accept my credentials too.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
mc

Update:

We have single sign on configured for one webserver and no single sign on on other. It works fine when I log on using the webserver without single sign on, but when I use the one with single sign on it still prompts me for user and password. If I enter my user and password it works.
I don't understand why datasource signon couldn't get the credentials.
Please help me if you have experienced this behaviour earlier with any data source.

Thanks,
mc

Hi MC,

Did you resolve this issue? We are getting the same issue with Netezza JDBC data source connection. It is prompting for username/password when external namespace is suing for sign-on.

Thanks,
Raghu
