I have had this problem before and got around it by using a crosstab but this time I have to use a list report .
It is a simple problem, I am reading in TM1 cube dimensional data, I have a data item column that consists of the measure 'Period', runs fine . however I need it to show the value for the month held in a field 'PY Current Month'. To do this I created a filter where the t_time hierarchy = PY Current Month (see attachment), I get no errors on validation but when I run the report I just get NO DATA message

Hi.
Try deleting the filter, and putting the desired month member in as either a slicer (in the query) or just drop it into the Context area at the top of he report page.

Unfortunately this would affect the whole list and I already have period being shown for current month so I don't want to overide that see attachment for complete list layout
