Title: Slider Labels turned into '####' when Hp vertica db is used
Post by: ToriBurns on 26 Aug 2014 05:42:24 AM
Good day Gurus!

Have anyone experienced using hp vertica as a database used for the package of a report in IBM Cognos report studio? The report is working fine, except that the labels on the slider was turned into '####' instead of its value. Attached here is an image of how it looks. I wonder if this is an unsupported feature or am I doing something wrong?..Thanks in advance. :)

Are the labels too long to render?

What was the issue? Was it label size? It might help someone else in future to know :)

Hi MFGF!

Honestly, I do not know what really caused the error. It's not the label size, because the size of the label is 4 characters only and when I try to recreate the slider, it worked without truncating the label. But, I guess the reason was that I changed the package from oracle to hp vertica..? I wonder if this is the reason of this behavior..Sorry can't tell exactly what caused the issue.  :-\
