Hi, I want to know, Is there a way to open the data item in Report Studio expression editor from a cube package? As you know, we can open up any data item from a framework package to change/edit the expression.

It depends on how you have your preferences defined for Report Studio. The default is that when you drag in something from your package, Report Studio will figure out if it is a level, a member, a set etc, and it will use an appropriate extended data item to represent this. As a result you don't end up with an editable expression. If you wish, you can select Tools > Options, go to the Report tab, and uncheck the "Always create extended data items for new reports" option to turn off this default behaviour. It won't affect existing reports, but anything new you create after this point will have expressions you can edit.
