I need to compare data from several periods. Periods depend on the dates the user enters on the prompt page. Say, user wants to compare the number of items sold between Jan 16 and Mar 31 of the current year, those sold within the same period a year before it,and 2 years before it. The user enters only the current period. The dates can be any dates. Ideally, the user can also enter the number of periods to compare.
I have Time dimension, and date prompt [model].[time_dim].[day].[date] in_range ?startdate? - so I can see the quantity for the current period but I need to compare it for the same range of time(dd.mm.yyyy) 1 year ago.
I have a relational data model with DMR.

Is this a full DMR model or a mix of DMR and relational?
