Step away from the pie chart:

I'm not aware of any way to tilt the pie chart back (should you decide to use them in the first place <Shudder>), but you might be able to do something with one of the rave visualisations.

I agree about the danger of pies!! In the excellent article Chris provided it perfectly illustrates how the difficulty with interpretation is actually
worsened when you tilt it!
Here is another article about the danger of pie from one of our own esteemed Cognoise members:

Here's the exact same question, asked and answered in this very forum, too.
Search is a fabulous tool - you ought to try it!

MF.
The poor pie chart... once the darling of corporate boardrooms everywhere, now just a beggar on the streets of visualization. I have read about the incarnate evil of pie charts and largely agree, but Shamar just wanted to know if he could tilt the pie. My guess is that it was not his idea, but probably some business person innocent to the danger asked for it. :-\
There is nothing in the native interface to do it, not even if you revert the charting engine. I even made a quick perusal of downloadable RAVE packages but did not see anything. Shamar, I think you will have to tell them it just is not an option at this time. Maybe you can provide them the links as to why the pie chart is likely not a good idea. No doubt this will be followed by a request to be able to export the data to Excel where the user can generate his 3D pie and export it to PowerPoint.
