User wants to be able to run a report and email it to someone but not have his name as the 'from person' on the email but have it populated with some outlook mailbox they've created like "South Prod". Any help is appreciated.

I've opened a case with Cognos and here is the solution. But this is not the solution we are looking for. I may log this as enhancement.
Solution :
To change the email address in the from to box you will need to have another user take ownership of the report.
Root Cause:
When a report has been created by a user, they become the owner of the report and hence when they schedule a report to run (e.g. daily), the report will be sent daily via e-mail and the sender will be the report's owner
Solution:
Give the cognos admin user a default email address (say, crnadmin@xyz.com) and as the admin user, take ownership of the report(s) in question
Steps:
1. Log into C8 as an admin user
2. Verify that the e-mail address associated with the admin user is as requested
(in this case, crnadmin@xyz.com) Preferences --> Personal Tab
3. Click on Set Properties of the report you wish to be sent from the admin user
4. Under the General tab, click on "Make me the Owner"
Report will now be sent from the admin user, not the orignal owner/creator of the report.
