Title: Bar chart - dots on the numeric values
Post by: cognosun on 11 Mar 2016 07:13:03 AM
I have a bar chart, where I need to show values within the bar(palette), this I achieved using the show value/hide option.

But apart from that I need to show a dot image on each value ( kind of bullets we use in ms-word), any idea like how to achieve.

Can I just ask what on earth for? You've got a bar where the height denotes the value. You've got the value itself in numbers...what purpose does the dot serve?

My thoughts exactly! Users never cease to amaze with the bizarre requirements they dream up.

Although I don't quite get why one would want this, you could use a combination chart with the same metric for the line, setting the line and markers property to only show markers.
