Is it possible to know the IP address of my data source?. If so can you let me know the steps.

It depends. What is your data source? How are you connecting to it?

Thanks for the reply MFGF.

My data source is oracle. My problem was I could not able to create the new data source as there was a wrong host name in the tnsora file.Now it is been fixed and I am able to create the data source now.
