Hi,
I am trying to add a slicer to my report to filter on a particular node, but I keep getting the error:
"Piecewise node not expected to be value".
I am dragging in the node I want to filter on directly from the hierarchy, I am not sure what I am doing wrong!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Only members can be used in the Slicer.
What exactly have you attempted to put in there? Please post the expression. Unlike a Filter, your Slicer is simply a Member reference... there is no need for an Operator.
Example... you have a Time Dimension and you wish to show only the data from 2006. You would expend your Time Dimension Hierarchy, and locate the Year level. Then, grab the Member within the Year level that is 2006 and drag that into the slicer. Done.
Note: There is a setting you must set to enable to allow seeing the members in RS.
