Hello Experts !
I have a curious problem I am trying to resolve in Cognos Transformer0.2.2.

I have been provided with a user group who should be able to see a particular dimension of the Cube, lets make it the Region Dimension.
But all other users of the cube should not see/use the Region dimension.

The business likes to set it up this way, since it would be easier to update the users who can see the Region dimension - since that is a much smaller group.

How can that be done in Transformer ? Any ideas ?

Not really sure what 'easier to update the users' means, but what you described leads me to think you will need to use custom views.

Check out chapter 7 in the user guide.
