Currently the indexing is not turned on for our version of Cognos, would this be causing the normal error details of report issues to not generate when you run reports that have errors? In my previous work life, I would receive specific error details.
An example of what I see is:
CAF-WRN-2082 An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by CAF with SecureErrorID: #####################
