Title: Do the Audit tables capture burst report instances?
Post by: a3nCognosUser on 08 Mar 2017 04:10:19 PM
We have a report that gets burst into over a 100 versions based on a variable. The way we set up our Cognos security groups, each department can only see their own burst report view. I need to create a report to show which of the burst reports are viewed and how often over a period of time.

The problem is I cannot find the burst report versions in the Audit tables, does anyone know if that gets logged and if yes, where exactly? Very hard to find good Audit documentation, so any help with that is appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Have you tried the audit extension? I haven't used it for quite a while now but you may find everything you need there.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately we do not have the Audit Extension installed. Maybe if we knew for sure that we can get this kind of data from it, we might.
