Has anyone ever experimented with the C8 Audit Extension, which allows for the ability to do extra auditing of users? According to documentation, this extension uses the Cognos 8 SDK to communicate with the Cognos components. Does that mean that one must have the Cognos 8 SDK installed? We do not have the SDK installed and I was wondering if the extension will only work with it being installed.
You don't need SDK. Check the document in the package. It will clear most of your doubts.
