Title: Migrating Appl from 7.2 to 8.2

Does any one know the step to migrate an application from 7.2 to 8.2

Is it much complicated . I heard that the security has changed a lot .

Any ideas appreciated

You just right click on applications and select import/upgrade, then select your source app.  Assuming you have used a series 7 AccMan namespace in 7.2, add the same namespace to your 8.2 environment and security should match.

Test your admin links thoroughly. We had a lot of problems there.

With transferring annotations?

I'd suggest you to move directly to 8.3 -- it's more reliable than 8.2

Hi,
we had problems with admin links, that worked in 8.1 but didn't transfer a single value in 8.2. We found out, that it had something to do with virtual memory. It costed us a lot of time.
