Hello

I am setting up a development environment on my laptop -- this will be sole use only.

Does anyone know of any issues why I could not use the developer version of SQL.

Just put SQL 2005 Dev edition on an XP SP2 laptop with BI, Planning, Controller. All tests so far show it working (haven't done all the integration items yet).

Desktop (MSDE) was another story - got a bit flaky so I just gave up. This is why I went to the Developers Edition.

The 2005 Version of MSDE is called Express. It workes fine in many small installations.
