I wonder if someone could give me some pointers please as to what might be going on with my Impromptu report - instead of the report filling all the available space in the window when I maximise the Impromptu window on my screen, it just covers 3/4 of the horizontal/vertical space and shows horizontal and vertical scroll bars...
As it is a bit tricky to describe, I have attached a screenshot and would appreciate any clues :)
Thank you!

Hi,
How is this report structured - I'm guessing this is the key to the issue here? It looks to me like you have an outer Form Frame (the entire screen) containing a List Frame (the part with scroll bars) and your list is contained within the List Frame? You should be able to resize the List Frame - just select it, go to the Format menu and choose Size, and choose the Snap to Parent option - this will make it the same size as the Form Frame.
Cheers!
MF.
Thank you very much, took me a few attempts to select the list frame correctly, but once I had managed that, it was easy to fix it with the properties as per your advice!
Thanks again
;D

Glad to hear it's fixed! I'm going to try out my clairvoyance cap and guess this is... <concentrating hard> ...something to do with ESS? :)
MF.
Oooooh, you're not just a Cognos genius, but an amazing clairvoyant as well ;D
I will definitely come back to this forum with any future queries I might have ;)

Hi Lynn! Nice to see you! Hope all is well :)
My clairvoyance cap is humming again. I'll give it a quick try. It's telling me there is some common link between you both. It's a vague impression of fire? No, not fire, but perhaps what used to be fire. Embers? No, not embers. That's not it. Ash? Yes, I think that's it! Ash. Does that mean anything to you? :)
I think I've used up this year's allocation of clairvoyance. Normal muppet behaviour from now on :)
MF.
:o now that's almost spooky - which clairvoyance school did you go to, impressive performance ;)
I'll have to take some lessons there, I can only think of the most tenuous links you could possibly have to the parties mentioned above that made you come up with your mystic statements :-[ :P
