Hi,

Any one can you explain installation of cognos8, i installed cognos8 and Sql server 2000, but I'm unable connect. It showing "unable to connect the content database".
Pl could you explain step by step procedure.

- Make sure that you have installed sql server 2000 SP4.
- Make sure that you have configured sql server for mixed mode authentication.
- Make sure that your sql user has DB_Owner rights to the database you have created.
