Title: Access to myfolders

Hi All,
Is there any way that  cognos administrator  or any one can access the myfolder of an end user in cognos 8.2 version

Sure is.

Go to Tools --> Directory --> Users, Groups & Roles

Click on the name of the authentication provider you want to search in (eg. CS7, Active Directory etc)

Browse to the user (dont forget to tick the 'show users' checkbox, or search for them, and when you find the user, those who have access C8 will appear as a hyperlink (ie. blue underline).

Click the hyperlink and this will show you the my folders.

The same thing works within the Cognos namespace for 'Directory > Cognos > Anonymous'

The user properties in here is also where you can modify user's portal tabs.
