Is there a way to load data from an Excel file into Metric Studio?

You can convert the excel sheets to tab-delimited files.  Metrics studio can import from tab delimited files.  Conversely, you can also export your metrics to tab-delimited files.  This makes it very portable and convenient.

You can get a precise description of the tab-delimited file structures in the appendix of the users guide.  Its time well spent.

If you are looking to import new metric data, then the .cmv, and .cmo files will become your best friends.

You can also place the excel file into framework manaer as a query subject. Then pull the QS into your package and republish you package. Then open up the Metric Designer Model that points to your revised package.  Create an extract and selete the QS of the excel file that will be used to populate your measure(s).
