Hi guys,

Trying to brainstorm some ideas as i'm a bit stuck.

Cognos 8.3 and am trying to run some BI reports through citrix. Excel has been installed on citrix servers and opening an .xls format is no issue. But running a BI report to excel, it doesn't do anything and just returns to the report listing page.

Doing the same through by running it directly from IE, it works fine. 

Any thoughts on what to check for?

Hi,

I have also faced issues while using Cognos reports through citrix. I have searched and also raised call in cognos support, but they come up with saying that Cognos doesnt support anything through Citrix. Please find the KB, if you have access

hi,

I am also facing some issues with the excel reports. I have office 2003 installed in my citrix machine and if i try to run any reports in Excel 2002 fomat it is taking hrs to display 10 or 20 lines of data. Am getting data after this long time....anyone have any idea on how to improve the performance of excel reports in cognos8.3?
