Hello,
I have attached one of the BI database inside SQL Server 2005. I was able to do it successfully. Now I would like to create a datasource connection in Cognos for this DB, can anyone tell me which uid should be used ? there are quite a few in the security folder like sys, dbo etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Since your DB is a source, i would suggest a sql account that has db_reader access rights to your database.
If none is available create one in sql server management studio.
