Hi all,
Is ther any settings in the cognos cofig/connection that we can enable to update the table CMOBJPROPS1.Its having only CMID of the users.All the other ADS deatils like e-mail,contact no are null.

Is there any other way to fetch the e-mail IDs of the cognos users.

I'm running into the same issue. It seems that for some reason that Cognos is not bringing over the Active Directory informaiton and storing it. However for me, at some point in the past it did. I'm thinking that it might be a patch thing but not sure. Does anyone know?

I am very sure this was a bug in 8.2. I hope it is fixed in 8.4. I have raised several tickets with Cognos prior to the IBM days but they always came back and 'warn'ed me that any querying on the content studio tables is not recommended and not supported!

First they blame it on AD, then on DB and then I never got an answer from them.

We're running 8.3 and I'm getting the same behaviour in our Content Store table.
Did anyone get to the bottom of this. Is it definitely a bug? Is there a fix or patch for it?

Hello, It is a bug in Cognos 8.3, Cognos Support asks us to upgrade to Cognos 8.4 to get this fixed.
