Title: audit database data
Post by: hiranb on 24 Jun 2009 07:34:49 AM
Hi,

How to repopulate data into audit database? When I run audit reports it showing previous yr data. I have set the Log setting in Server Administration-> dispatcher properties to 'Request' Level and started Cognos Configuration again. Still the reports are not showing with recent data in it.

Do you have any tracing set?

When I was working on some problems with Cognos Support they had me enable some AAA CAM Tracing that disables the logging to the audit DB.

If thats a no go, look at the filters you are sending or just send a Select * directly SQL to the audit DB just to make sure the model or report isn't filtering them out.

How do you enable AAA CAM Tracing? I have checked for filters and apparently there are no filters? Thanks

Cognos support would most likely give you a file that enables tracing, if they haven't then this probably isn't the issue.

Have you had your DBA look at the data in audit DB?

When you mean repopulate, did you delete or move the old audit db?
