Title: Directory Server Localhost:389 is not responding?

Hi All,

I have installed Cognos series 7 AM Server and Administrator on Windows XP. I have configured the DNS on my system.

Once all the components installed, i have selected to configure with defaults.

I opened the configuration manager and validated the root level and when i applied selections then i am getting directory server not responding.

Can any one guide me whether i am doing anything wrong?

Instead of Localhost try your ipaddress... Hope this works
