Title: Can we export a perticuler report [instead of Entire package or Folder]

Hi,

Just wants to find out if there is any way to export a single report in Content Administration, instead of exporting the entire package or folder.

Hi Venu,

For single report export you can follow the below method instead of exporting through Content Admin.

1) Open the Report
2)From tools--click on Copy to Clipboard
3)copy the xml spec in notepad
4) Open report studio, create an empty report to deploy
5) Under tools select open report from clipboard.

I am aware of this way  ;D, I want to see if there is any way in Content Administration.

Yes, you should be able to export reports without doing the whole package.  We place any reports to be migrated into an Export folder and we have an export set up that exports the contents of that folder.  Not sure if that helps, if you need more details let me know.

Eporting Package or a specified folder we can do, but now I wants export a single report, coz if I place it in a folder and export the folder, path of the report will change, as its already using by a front end application, path of the report should not change.
