Title: enabling mail server connection

when i start cognos config it completes all test successfully and get a warning on the mail server connection. i beleieve it has been disabled. where and how do i enable the mail server service and be able to send reports via email

What is the warning you are getting?

Were you able to confirm that the SMTP mail server is correct? Also, does the username and password,  you are using to connect, have a valid email account set up?
