I have a small question .. I know that if I developed models/reports in version say 8.4 and then tried to deploy it on another Cognos environment like 8.3, the FM model will not work and even the reports there will not work without modifications. this is the case between 8.3 and 8.4 ..
My question is, will it be the same case between 8.4.1 and 8.4 ?? So if I have on my laptop Cognos 8.4.1 but our server is 8.4, will I be able to move reports and models from my laptop to our server ?

Hi,
I have not checked, but I strongly suspect the XML schema will have changed. To get around it may be something as simple as manually editing the schema version in the XML of each report, but it's a risky thing to do.

Thank you for your response, I know that we modify the XML schema for the reports. The issue will be in the Framework Manager models. because it didn't work for me in the 8.4 and 8.3 versions.
